Leaside League is where athletes learn the game, build confidence, and have fun on the court.
Our House League programs offer a fun, supportive environment for youth athletes of all experience levels, combining skill development with gameplay in every session. Athletes build fundamentals through guided drills, then apply their skills in team-based gameplay.
Programs follow a progressive structure—younger or less experienced athletes focus on fundamentals and individual skill development, while older and more advanced players spend more time on gameplay, team systems, and tactics.
Each program wraps up with a high-energy Championship Tournament, where teams compete, showcase their progress, and celebrate the season together.
Ages 9–11
Designed for young athletes to learn the game, build strong foundational skills, and gain confidence through fun, game-based play. Flexible 4- or 8-session options on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays make it ideal for active families.
Our Junior League is designed for athletes aged 9–11 with little to no previous experience. Each session combines skill development with fun, game-based play so athletes can immediately apply what they’ve practised in a supportive team environment.
The June League runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and families may choose between a one-session-per-week option (4 sessions) or both sessions each week (8 sessions). During gameplay, athletes may be rotated from session to session, giving them the opportunity to play with new teammates and against new opponents while building confidence and friendships across the group. All participants receive a Leaside T-shirt and train in a positive, team-focused environment.
Build core technical skills and game understanding through progressive training and gameplay. Designed for athletes with some experience as well as motivated players newer to the sport, with flexible 4- or 8-session registration.
Our Junior League Intermediate session is designed for athletes aged 11–14 who are ready for the next stage in their volleyball development. The program is ideal for players with some previous experience — whether through school teams, our League programs, or other recreational play — while still being welcoming to motivated athletes who are newer to the sport.
Throughout the program, athletes continue to develop the five fundamental volleyball skills — passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and defence — with increased technical focus and more game-like progression. Gameplay is faster and more structured than in the Junior division, giving athletes the opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Our Senior League is designed for athletes aged 14–17 who are looking for a high-energy, game-focused volleyball experience in a positive and team-oriented environment. The program offers a faster pace of play while continuing to provide coaching, feedback, and opportunities for skill development.
The Senior division places a strong emphasis on gameplay, with athletes competing in structured, officiated matches each week. A skill-development component is included to reinforce technique and team systems, but the majority of each session is dedicated to game play – creating the dynamic, competitive, and social atmosphere that this age group enjoys most.
Gameplay in the Senior division is athlete-driven and fast moving, with an emphasis on court awareness, positional understanding, and collaboration. Officiated matches provide an authentic game experience and help athletes build confidence and strategy. Our experienced Leaside coaches provide guidance and feedback throughout each session.
